Some of our larger auditorium spaces have sound reinforcement equipment for hearing assistance. These rooms include the following:
- Anderson Hall 250, 270, 310, 350, and 370
- Blegen Hall 5 and 10
- Molecular Cellular Biology 3-120
- Ralph Rapson Hall 100
- Bell Museum Auditorium
- Nicholson Hall 35, 155, and 275
- McNeal Hall 33
- Smith Hall 100
- Tate Laboratory of Physics 150
- Willey Hall 125 and 175
The hearing assist headsets for Molecular Cellular Biology 3-120 and Ralph Rapson Hall 100 are located in the projection booth at the rear of the classroom. The Bell Museum Auditorium headsets are located behind the stage. The headsets in Nicholson Hall and Tate Laboratory of Physics are located in equipment storage areas in or near the classrooms. These locations are typically locked. For more information on accessing the booths or headsets, please contact John Knowles at 626-8650.
The hearing assist headsets for Anderson Hall, Blegen Hall, McNeal Hall, Smith Hall, and Willey Hall are located in drawers at the instructor station table.
Instructions for using the hearing assist headsets:
1. Remove a headset from the charging cradle

2. Take the headset into the auditorium and switch the unit on using the volume/power knob located on the bottom of the headset.

| 3. Put the headset on, earphones on top, "Sennheiser" logo on the bottom and facing outward for best reception. |
| 4. Adjust the volume to desired level. |
Any sound that is coming through the room's system should be audible on the headsets. If you experience interference or static, try moving to a different location and be sure that you are facing the front of the auditorium.
When you are finished, please return the headset to the charger cradle.
