2016 Classroom Technology Renewal As part of OCM's commitment to providing instructional technology in general purpose classrooms, OCM will be updating classroom equipment in more than 70 rooms. The project is expected to minimize breakdowns and maintain the functionality of the classroom's technology system.
Tate Lab Renovation Beginning in June 2015, Tate Lab of Physics will be offline for a full interior renovation until summer 2017. All existing spaces will be removed and reconfigured, and new space will be added along the Church Street side of the building.
New OCM rooms OCM is partnering with several groups on campus to manage a variety of new learning spaces. These transfers will streamline scheduling of these spaces, and provide more direct oversight for the maintenance of the furnishings and technology.
Card access updates OCM intends to replace wireless card readers in several buildings to improve reliability as the existing card readers reach the end of their lifespan. Buildings currently under consideration are Ford, Amundson, and Nicholson Halls. A schedule has not yet been determined, but work will likely by over summer 2015.
Blegen 317, 245/255 To support course activity displaced by the renovation of Tate Lab of Physics, two areas of Blegen Hall will be renovated over summer 2015.
Mayo C231 Mayo C231 (also known as the Todd Amphitheatre) will be renovated over the summer of 2015 to support course activity displaced by the Tate Lab of Physics renovation.
Ruttan Hall Replace the furniture, finishes, and lighting in auditorium B25.
