Who's teaching that course?
In order to ensure that instructors will be able to access their grade rosters online, please review all of your fall 2011 courses and make sure the correct instructor is assigned to each course that will require grades.
To determine if you have courses still requiring instructor assignment, review “Classes Missing Instructor Information” in UM Reports. The data in this report can be sorted by:
- campus
- college
- department name & dept ID
- subject
- number of courses missing instructors
Have you gone to Scheduling U?
Scheduling U started on Monday, October 17 and continues through Friday, November 4. There are still two more sessions of “Scheduling update.” During these sessions, scheduling unit staff will provide information about the new scheduling policy and discuss the process for non-standard classes. There are also sessions remaining on the new report to determine if you are in compliance with the new policy, ECS tips and tricks, and more!
Scheduling finals: pass with flying colors
Final exam scheduling continues! Follow the progress here!
Requests for special or additional examination rooms (via request for special examination room - ASR 123) need to be submitted by Friday, October 21.
And it’s not too late to let us know if there are sections that will not require a general purpose classroom during finals week. Please notify us of course sections that will not require a classroom during finals week by emailing ocmsched@umn.edu with the subject line “Fall 2011 Final Exam” and the section number(s) in the body.
